Ignition Coil for 1.8T 20V (06A). OE number 06A 905 115 D. Main group 905 sub-group 115. Revision index D. Replace coils as a full set — mixing a new coil with worn ones is the usual cause of a repeat misfire. Older 115-series coil; typically below the modern 110 series.

Cured my P0303

Fitted to my 2011 A7 4G. The part number on the body matches the OE reference exactly. I swapped it on the roadside when the car dropped a cylinder on the way home. Result is it pulls cleanly through the rev range again with no stumble under load.

Straight fix for a rough idle

Fitted to my 2017 A5 F5. The boot is proper thick silicone, not the thin rubber the cheap ones use. I replaced all four at once rather than chase them one at a time. Result is cold starts are smooth instead of shaking the whole car. Exactly what I needed.

Fixed it, but not for long

Fitted to my 2008 RS4 B7. I cleared the fault codes afterwards and they have not come back. It started misfiring on the same cylinder again after about eight weeks. That said, it pulls cleanly through the rev range again with no stumble under load. Good part, minor niggles.

Engine light off first drive

My A3 8P needed this doing at 120k miles. The spring contact is firm and seated with a definite click. I replaced all four at once rather than chase them one at a time. Result is fuel economy went back to normal within a tank.

No more limp mode

Ordered this for my A4 B8 after the original gave up at 83k. The boot is proper thick silicone, not the thin rubber the cheap ones use. Coil pack out, new one in, ten minutes with a T30 and the engine cover off. Result is it pulls cleanly through the rev range again with no stumble under load. No complaints at all.
