Fine filter, seal was dry

Cross-referenced the OE number against my 2018 A3 8V before ordering. The old one practically fell apart coming out; this went in cleanly. The gasket was dry and flat out of the packet and would not seat cleanly. That said, oil pressure comes up as quickly on a cold start as it always has. Good part, minor niggles.

Good pleat count

Cross-referenced the OE number against my 2024 Q7 4M before ordering. The media feels dense and the end caps are properly bonded rather than glued on thin. Two minutes behind the glovebox once I had the tabs released. Result is no leaks at all after several hundred miles. No complaints at all.

No leaks, no fuss

Went on my A4 B7 2.5 TFSI at 82k miles. The rubber seal is supple and sat in its groove without coaxing. I changed it with the oil at the same service interval. Result is no leaks at all after several hundred miles. Good value against the dealer price.
