Right belt, sparse instructions
Ordered this for my A6 C6 after the original gave up at 115k. Torqued the tensioner to spec and rotated it twice by hand before starting. The chain has proper hardened links rather than the soft pins on cheap copies. On balance the engine is noticeably quieter at idle than it has been for a year. Would still buy it again.

Correct kit, no surprises
Second one of these I have bought, this time for the Q3 8U. I did the water pump and rollers at the same time since the front was already off. The date stamp was recent, which matters for rubber that has been sitting on a shelf. Result is the top-end rattle on cold start has completely gone. Exactly what I needed.

Good kit, check the contents
My A3 8V needed this doing at 105k miles. A weekend job with the right locking kit and a service manual open next to me. One of the tensioner bolts was missing from the kit and held the job up a day. That said, timing has held perfectly through 12,000 miles since fitting. Good part, minor niggles.

Peace of mind on an interference engine
Cross-referenced the OE number against my 2014 A7 4G before ordering. Everything in the box matched the parts diagram with nothing missing. I did the water pump and rollers at the same time since the front was already off. Result is the top-end rattle on cold start has completely gone.
