Everything lined up
Replacement for my 2008 A6 C6 2.0 TDI. I did the water pump and rollers at the same time since the front was already off. Everything in the box matched the parts diagram with nothing missing. Result is the engine is noticeably quieter at idle than it has been for a year.

Quiet engine again
Second one of these I have bought, this time for the A5 F5. Torqued the tensioner to spec and rotated it twice by hand before starting. The chain has proper hardened links rather than the soft pins on cheap copies. Result is the top-end rattle on cold start has completely gone. No complaints at all.

Stretched sooner than expected
Went on my TT 8J 2.0 TFSI at 143k miles. It developed a light rattle again far sooner than a timing job should need redoing. Expected better given the cost.

Peace of mind on an interference engine
Cross-referenced the OE number against my 2015 S3 8V before ordering. I booked it in with a specialist rather than risk an interference engine on the driveway. Rattle on start-up gone
Replacement for my 2015 S4 B8 1.8 TFSI. The tooth profile and belt width are indistinguishable from the part that came off. I did the water pump and rollers at the same time since the front was already off. Result is the engine is noticeably quieter at idle than it has been for a year.
