Fixed it, but buy the full set
Fitted to my 2010 Q7 4L. Coil pack out, new one in, ten minutes with a T30 and the engine cover off. The boot is proper thick silicone, not the thin rubber the cheap ones use. On balance the rough idle and flashing engine light disappeared immediately. Good part, minor niggles.

Boot split on installation
Replacement for my 2018 TT 8S 3.0 TFSI V6. The boot tore as I seated it, which suggests the rubber compound is not right. Coil pack out, new one in, ten minutes with a T30 and the engine cover off. Would not order the same one again.

Straight fix for a rough idle
Cross-referenced the OE number against my 2014 Q7 4L before ordering. Coil pack out, new one in, ten minutes with a T30 and the engine cover off. The spring contact is firm and seated with a definite click. Result is cold starts are smooth instead of shaking the whole car. Happy to recommend it.

Engine light off first drive
My Q7 4L needed this doing at 76k miles. The boot is proper thick silicone, not the thin rubber the cheap ones use. I swapped it on the roadside when the car dropped a cylinder on the way home. Result is fuel economy went back to normal within a tank.

Exactly like the originals
My A5 F5 needed this doing at 105k miles. I replaced all four at once rather than chase them one at a time. Identical moulding and connector to the failed original I took out. Result is the rough idle and flashing engine light disappeared immediately. Good value against the dealer price.

Fixed it, but not for long
Went on my A1 8X 3.0 TFSI V6 at 50k miles. I replaced all four at once rather than chase them one at a time. It started misfiring on the same cylinder again after about eight weeks. That said, fuel economy went back to normal within a tank. Worth buying, just go in with your eyes open.

Cured my P0303
