Ignition Coil – 077 905 115 T
Ignition Coil for 4.2 V8 (077). OE number 077 905 115 T. Main group 905 sub-group 115. Revision index T. Replace coils as a full set — mixing a new coil with worn ones is the usual cause of a repeat misfire. Older 115-series coil.

Straight fix for a rough idle
Ordered this for my A8 D4 after the original gave up at 150k. I replaced all four at once rather than chase them one at a time. The spring contact is firm and seated with a definite click. Result is fuel economy went back to normal within a tank.

Cured my P0303
Bought for a 2017 Q7 4M. The spring contact is firm and seated with a definite click. A smear of dielectric grease went on the boot before it was seated. Result is cold starts are smooth instead of shaking the whole car. Exactly what I needed.

Misfire cleared instantly
My A8 D4 needed this doing at 110k miles. Coil pack out, new one in, ten minutes with a T30 and the engine cover off. The boot is proper thick silicone, not the thin rubber the cheap ones use. Result is fuel economy went back to normal within a tank.

Idle is smooth again
Went on my Q5 8R 2.0 TFSI at 104k miles. I replaced all four at once rather than chase them one at a time. Identical moulding and connector to the failed original I took out. Result is cold starts are smooth instead of shaking the whole car. Delivery was quick too.

Engine light off first drive
My Q8 4M needed this doing at 70k miles. The boot is proper thick silicone, not the thin rubber the cheap ones use. I replaced all four at once rather than chase them one at a time. Result is cold starts are smooth instead of shaking the whole car.

No more limp mode
Fitted to my 2023 Q8 4M. A smear of dielectric grease went on the boot before it was seated. The part number on the body matches the OE reference exactly. Result is cold starts are smooth instead of shaking the whole car. No complaints at all.

Fixed it, but not for long
Fitted to my 2018 S3 8V. Coil pack out, new one in, ten minutes with a T30 and the engine cover off. It started misfiring on the same cylinder again after about eight weeks. That said, no stored codes after a month of daily driving. Worth buying, just go in with your eyes open.
