Rattle on start-up gone
Ordered this for my TT 8S after the original gave up at 142k. Torqued the tensioner to spec and rotated it twice by hand before starting. The date stamp was recent, which matters for rubber that has been sitting on a shelf. Result is timing has held perfectly through 12,000 miles since fitting.

Stretched sooner than expected
Fitted to my 2022 Q5 FY. It developed a light rattle again far sooner than a timing job should need redoing. Disappointing for the price.

Everything lined up
Went on my A1 8X 2.0 TDI at 114k miles. I booked it in with a specialist rather than risk an interference engine on the driveway. The date stamp was recent, which matters for rubber that has been sitting on a shelf. Result is no more chain slap on start-up, which was what prompted the job.

Peace of mind on an interference engine
Ordered this for my Q8 4M after the original gave up at 139k. Locking tools on, marks aligned, and it timed up exactly where it should. Everything in the box matched the parts diagram with nothing missing. Result is timing has held perfectly through 12,000 miles since fitting. Would order again without hesitation.

Complete and correct
Fitted to my 2008 A5 8T. A weekend job with the right locking kit and a service manual open next to me. The chain has proper hardened links rather than the soft pins on cheap copies. Result is the engine is noticeably quieter at idle than it has been for a year.

Right belt, sparse instructions
Ordered this for my A4 B9 after the original gave up at 107k. I booked it in with a specialist rather than risk an interference engine on the driveway. The date stamp was recent, which matters for rubber that has been sitting on a shelf. On balance timing has held perfectly through 12,000 miles since fitting. Good part, minor niggles.

Quiet engine again
Fitted to my 2013 A3 8V. Torqued the tensioner to spec and rotated it twice by hand before starting. The chain has proper hardened links rather than the soft pins on cheap copies. Result is no more chain slap on start-up, which was what prompted the job.
