Sat lower on one side
Bought for a 2018 TT 8S. The car sat about 15mm lower on one side, which suggests a spring rate problem. I torqued everything at ride height rather than with the suspension hanging. Disappointing for the price.

Crashing over potholes has stopped
My A8 D4 needed this doing at 113k miles. The garage did the pair and the alignment came back within spec straight away. The paint and plating look like they will survive a few winters of salt. Result is the car no longer floats over crests and settles in one movement.

Ride is composed again
Went on my Q3 8U 1.4 TFSI at 105k miles. Spring compressors out and the strut rebuilt on the bench in an afternoon. The weight matches the original almost exactly, which the cheap ones never do. Result is it tracks straight on the motorway instead of wandering. Exactly what I needed.

Good damping, ride height is off
Second one of these I have bought, this time for the A3 8V. The garage did the pair and the alignment came back within spec straight away. The car sat about 15mm lower on one side, which suggests a spring rate problem. That said, sharp expansion joints no longer send a bang through the cabin. Fine for the money, with that one caveat.

Well damped, not harsh
Replacement for my 2005 A3 8P 2.0 TDI. The paint and plating look like they will survive a few winters of salt. I fitted both sides together as you should, then had it aligned the same week. Result is the clonk over speed bumps that started this job has completely gone. Good value against the dealer price.
