Correct thread, correct grade
Went on my TT 8S 1.8 TFSI at 117k miles. They threaded in cleanly by hand before I put a socket anywhere near them. Proper grade steel rather than the soft plated stuff that rounds off. Result is no corrosion on them after a winter of road salt.

Proper OE spec
My Q3 8U needed this doing at 157k miles. I replaced the whole set rather than reuse stretch bolts, as you should. Proper grade steel rather than the soft plated stuff that rounds off. Result is everything torqued down evenly with nothing binding. Would order again without hesitation.

Good steel, verify the pitch
Second one of these I have bought, this time for the Q3 8U. I replaced the whole set rather than reuse stretch bolts, as you should. The thread pitch did not match my originals and I had to source them elsewhere. That said, everything torqued down evenly with nothing binding. Worth buying, just go in with your eyes open.

Exactly the right hardware
Cross-referenced the OE number against my 2013 A6 C7 before ordering. Thread pitch and length are spot on against the old hardware. Torqued to the manual figure with no sign of stretch. Result is everything torqued down evenly with nothing binding. Will be back for the other side.

Thread pitch was wrong
Replacement for my 2014 A7 4G 1.4 TFSI. The thread pitch did not match my originals and I had to source them elsewhere. Would not order the same one again.
