Straight swap
Fitted to my 2014 Q3 8U. I pressure tested it to 1.4 bar before fitting and it held without a drop. Front end off, old one out, this one in over a long Saturday. Result is no more creeping temperature when towing. Good value against the dealer price.

Fins bent in transit
Replacement for my 2012 A7 4G 1.4 TFSI. Several fins arrived flattened because the box had almost no internal padding. Front end off, old one out, this one in over a long Saturday. Disappointing for the price.

Fits, but budget a new fan shroud
Second one of these I have bought, this time for the A6 C7. All the mounting points and hose stubs lined up without any persuasion. The end tanks are properly crimped with clean seams all the way round. On balance the coolant level has not moved in four months. Good part, minor niggles.

Temps back to normal
Ordered this for my Q5 8R after the original gave up at 107k. The end tanks are properly crimped with clean seams all the way round. The transmission cooler lines threaded straight in with no adapters. Result is the gauge sits dead centre now even in traffic on a hot day. Will be back for the other side.

Seeped from the end tank
Replacement for my 2022 Q8 4M 2.5 TFSI. A weep appeared at the end tank seam after a few heat cycles. I flushed the system properly and refilled with the correct G13 before bleeding. Would not order the same one again.

Solved my overheating
Bought for a 2021 Q8 4M. I flushed the system properly and refilled with the correct G13 before bleeding. The core is thicker than the unit it replaced and the fin density is noticeably higher. Result is the gauge sits dead centre now even in traffic on a hot day.
