Ride is composed again
Second one of these I have bought, this time for the S3 8V. Damping is progressive when you compress it by hand, not dead at the top of the stroke. I fitted both sides together as you should, then had it aligned the same week. Result is the clonk over speed bumps that started this job has completely gone.

Car feels new again
Cross-referenced the OE number against my 2011 A5 8T before ordering. The weight matches the original almost exactly, which the cheap ones never do. Top mounts and bearings went on at the same time while it was apart. Result is sharp expansion joints no longer send a bang through the cabin.

Well damped, not harsh
Bought for a 2012 S4 B8. I torqued everything at ride height rather than with the suspension hanging. The paint and plating look like they will survive a few winters of salt. Result is the clonk over speed bumps that started this job has completely gone. Happy to recommend it.
