Leaked within a month

Fitted to my 2022 Q5 FY. One unit was visibly weeping oil down the body within a few weeks. I torqued everything at ride height rather than with the suspension hanging. Disappointing for the price.

Fine, but get an alignment after

Fitted to my 2017 Q5 8R. I torqued everything at ride height rather than with the suspension hanging. The weight matches the original almost exactly, which the cheap ones never do. On balance the clonk over speed bumps that started this job has completely gone. Worth buying, just go in with your eyes open.

Firmer than standard, took adjusting to

Went on my A6 C7 2.5 TFSI at 144k miles. I torqued everything at ride height rather than with the suspension hanging. Damping is progressive when you compress it by hand, not dead at the top of the stroke. On balance the clonk over speed bumps that started this job has completely gone. Good part, minor niggles.

Car feels new again

Ordered this for my RS4 B7 after the original gave up at 154k. Top mounts and bearings went on at the same time while it was apart. The rod is properly finished with no machining marks and the seal is clean. Result is body roll through roundabouts is properly controlled again. Cannot fault it.
