Never stopped squealing
Second one of these I have bought, this time for the A5 8T. They never fully stopped squealing no matter how carefully I bedded them. Disappointing for the price.

Decent for the money
Ordered this for my A6 C8 after the original gave up at 128k. The hub face cleaned up first, then these went on with no shimming needed. Runout measured well within spec on the dial gauge. On balance braking is quiet and progressive where before it grabbed. Fine for the money, with that one caveat.

Works, but check your part number
Cross-referenced the OE number against my 2007 A4 B7 before ordering. Carrier bolts came off without a fight and the new discs dropped straight on. Machining on the friction face is even all the way round. On balance the steering wheel shimmy under braking from motorway speed has completely gone. Fine for the money, with that one caveat.

Pedal feel transformed
Bought for a 2010 S4 B8. Swapped them on the driveway with basic tools in about two hours a side. Weight and vane count match the originals exactly. Result is no vibration through the pedal even on a long downhill run. Good value against the dealer price.

Noisy for the first week
Ordered this for my A6 C7 after the original gave up at 137k. The hub face cleaned up first, then these went on with no shimming needed. They never fully stopped squealing no matter how carefully I bedded them. That said, braking is quiet and progressive where before it grabbed. Good part, minor niggles.

Better than the dealer discs
Fitted to my 2022 A4 B9. Needed a wind-back tool for the rear calipers but otherwise a straightforward job. Machining on the friction face is even all the way round. Result is stopping distance feels shorter and the pedal is firm rather than spongy. Exactly what I needed.

Solid replacement discs
Fitted to my 2009 A4 B8. The hub face cleaned up first, then these went on with no shimming needed. Machining on the friction face is even all the way round. Result is no vibration through the pedal even on a long downhill run. No complaints at all.

Straight, true and quiet
Bought for a 2022 Q8 4M. The protective coating on the hat means no unsightly rust ring after a wash. Needed a wind-back tool for the rear calipers but otherwise a straightforward job. Result is no vibration through the pedal even on a long downhill run.
