Saved a fortune on the repair

Replacement for my 2010 Q5 8R 2.0 TFSI. I lined it up against the door shut and the gap fell straight in. The swage lines and body contours follow the original exactly. Result is the panel gaps are even down both sides and you cannot tell it was repaired.

Bodyshop was impressed

Cross-referenced the OE number against my 2008 A6 C6 before ordering. All the mounting tabs and clip locations are present and in the right place. The bodyshop test-fitted it before paint and needed almost no adjustment. Result is it has been on a year now with no sign of corrosion at the seams.

Panel gaps came out perfect

Went on my A4 B7 1.8 TFSI at 90k miles. The steel gauge feels the same as the original panel we cut out. I prepped and painted it in the car colour and it went on in a morning. Result is the finished repair cost a fraction of a dealer panel.

Good panel, treat the tabs gently

Replacement for my 2007 Q7 4L 2.5 TFSI. The bodyshop test-fitted it before paint and needed almost no adjustment. One of the mounting tabs sheared as soon as it was put under any tension. That said, it has been on a year now with no sign of corrosion at the seams. Fine for the money, with that one caveat.

Contours match exactly

My Q5 FY needed this doing at 50k miles. All the mounting tabs and clip locations are present and in the right place. I prepped and painted it in the car colour and it went on in a morning. Result is it has been on a year now with no sign of corrosion at the seams. Will be back for the other side.

Primed and ready to paint

Fitted to my 2009 A5 8T. The steel gauge feels the same as the original panel we cut out. It clipped into the factory mounting points without drilling anything. Result is the panel gaps are even down both sides and you cannot tell it was repaired. Cannot fault it.
