Correct damping rate

Bought for a 2018 Q3 8U. The rod is properly finished with no machining marks and the seal is clean. Spring compressors out and the strut rebuilt on the bench in an afternoon. Result is body roll through roundabouts is properly controlled again. No complaints at all.

Ride is composed again

Went on my RS4 B7 1.4 TFSI at 51k miles. The weight matches the original almost exactly, which the cheap ones never do. The garage did the pair and the alignment came back within spec straight away. Result is sharp expansion joints no longer send a bang through the cabin.

Well damped, not harsh

Bought for a 2011 Q3 8U. The paint and plating look like they will survive a few winters of salt. The garage did the pair and the alignment came back within spec straight away. Result is the car no longer floats over crests and settles in one movement. Good value against the dealer price.

Sat lower on one side

Bought for a 2022 Q7 4M. The car sat about 15mm lower on one side, which suggests a spring rate problem. Expected better given the cost.
