Good fit, colour is off
Cross-referenced the OE number against my 2008 A4 B8 before ordering. The locating pegs dropped into the body holes first time. The lens reads very slightly darker than the original on the other side in bright sun. That said, no moisture inside after months of use. Fine for the money, with that one caveat.

Straight swap
Ordered this for my RS4 B7 after the original gave up at 114k. The gasket is a proper moulded seal rather than a strip of foam. It took about twenty minutes with the boot trim folded back. Result is no moisture inside after months of use.

Good match, fiddly to seat
Second one of these I have bought, this time for the Q8 4M. The locating pegs dropped into the body holes first time. The bulb holders click in positively instead of feeling loose. On balance no moisture inside after months of use. Would still buy it again.

Colour matches the other side
Fitted to my 2017 A4 B9. It took about twenty minutes with the boot trim folded back. The housing feels rigid and does not creak when the bolts are tightened. Result is from a few paces back you cannot tell which side was replaced.
