Arrived with a cracked tab
Second one of these I have bought, this time for the RS4 B7. One of the mounting tabs was cracked in transit and needed repairing before it would sit properly. Swapping it over took an afternoon working carefully. Expected better given the cost.

Sharp cut-off, no dazzle
Ordered this for my S3 8V after the original gave up at 128k. The bumper had to come off, but the mounting tabs lined up exactly. The housing seal feels substantial and the breather sits in the factory position. Result is the output is far better than the yellowed original it replaced. Exactly what I needed.

Cross-referenced the OE number against my 2005 A3 8P before ordering. Swapping it over took an afternoon working carefully. The connector is a correct-spec plug rather than a loose generic one. On balance the output is far better than the yellowed original it replaced. Worth buying, just go in with your eyes open.

Clear lens, proper seal
Bought for a 2007 RS4 B7. The three bolts went straight into the original captive nuts. The lens is properly clear rather than the slightly milky finish of the cheap copies. Result is no condensation at all through a wet winter.

Beam pattern matches the original
Cross-referenced the OE number against my 2014 A4 B8.5 before ordering. The mounting tabs are moulded thick enough that they do not flex when bolted down. It plugged into the factory connector without an adapter. Result is the indicator and daytime running light behave exactly like the factory part.

Right part, average finish
Went on my Q3 8U 3.0 TDI V6 at 151k miles. The levelling motor transferred across from the old unit without trouble. The connector is a correct-spec plug rather than a loose generic one. On balance the indicator and daytime running light behave exactly like the factory part. Good part, minor niggles.

Brighter than the one it replaced
Ordered this for my A6 C8 after the original gave up at 152k. The connector is a correct-spec plug rather than a loose generic one. The three bolts went straight into the original captive nuts. Result is the cut-off is sharp and sits exactly where the old one did. Will be back for the other side.

Good build, needed realigning
My A3 8V needed this doing at 73k miles. Swapping it over took an afternoon working carefully. The beam sat noticeably low and took a long time on the adjusters to bring up. That said, the output is far better than the yellowed original it replaced. Good part, minor niggles.
